Disc Golf World Headquarters work day

The NGDGC and others were invited to help (and play) on the new courses at the World Disc Golf Headquarters in Augusta Georgia earlier this year. A number of us made the trip out. We had some great contact with several leaders of the PDGA and got a lot done. We were then blessed with not only pizza for our efforts but a chance to be some of the first people to play the course.
There were some very entertaining things that went on. If you want to hear the much exaggerated and very colorful story of how Wayne got down to his tightly whites to go after a disc in the lake you should ask Jason Hughes about it… the guys in the Bass boat sure did seem to enjoy the sight. And we did get the disc back… Wayne will tell you he had a lot of fun even though his score was nothing to brag about… but man those white legs do look good
Below are some of the pictures of the trip....sorry none of the white legs are included

There’s that hair we had to wait and wait on this morning…. Maybe I'll go over there and lop it off….. Naaa better just cut down this tree…. Stupid trees…

Would you all stop standing around and help Jason with the tree already.

I think we have had enough of this lets eat.

Ya buddy I hear that. Hanging around here watching people do all this work
has made me hungry.... did someone say pizza?

come and get it while its hot

Thanks to Pizza Hut for making a good pie... and especially thanks to the great folks over at the PDGA for supplying the lunch we ate at the old headquarter, met some neat people and did a little practice putting. GOOD TIMES

NO NO NO Mark throw it so it goes IN the basket!

I said IN the basket.

See like this mark..... right in the basket.

Ok now that we have eaten all that pizza and wore ourselves out with all that work and superfluous putting…. Let’s go play 18 holes on a pro course…. No I’m not tired. You tired? Well let’s go then; and there is no such thing as superfluous putting.

Hay which way did you say we needed to go again.. I don't get this,,,,

DUDE which way are we supposed to go..... I'm tellen ya I just don't get this map.

uggggggg why did I eat that whole pizza
Before we took off to play the course our photographer took ill and that was lucky for me 'cause no shots were taken of me with my pants off in the lake.... but as I said the Bass fishermen got a great show, but sad that we did not have a chance to get some pictures of the course. All of us that went had a great time and look forward to trying the course again when are not so tired... cuzzz man we stunk it up that day, and our photographer is on the job.

Peace out until next time
