08-20-09 UPDATE

the main addenda of the meeting was to decide if the organization was going to change its name. when the North Georgia Disc Golf Club organized we had designs of being involved in a broader area and scope. this has not worked out. however we have become very successful in the work we have been doing at Oregon Park, and with Cobb County. So in an effort to clarify our role in the community the club has unanimously voted to change the name to Cobb Disc Golf Club (C.D.G.C.);  and we will be focusing all our efforts at Oregon Park, the Pitner Road property and with Cobb County Parks and recreations exclusively. Thanks to all those that have made this organization a success in the past and to all of us that are moving forward with the expansion of Disc Golf in Cobb County.... and a special thanks to our friend Bob at Disc Caddie for bringing out some stuff for us

 It will be some time before all our financial accounts are changed to the new name so checks and PayPal payments will still be addressed to NGDGC
