Officer Roles

General
All official club operations shall be overseen by a Club officer. It shall be the duty of all elected officers to do their best to serve the Club and to fulfill their responsibilities. Officers are required to attend all Club and Board meetings. Only active member may be elected and hold office. An officer may be removed from office by a 2/3 vote by the Club. All terms shall be for one year periods.

Officers
Club President:
The president shall preside over meetings and direct overall club operations. This officer shall coordinate fund raising efforts with the Tournament Directors for specific events. The president shall administer all judgments related to club rules. The president may appoint temporary replacements for officials who cannot complete their terms. – Mark Cannon -770.425.6743

Vice President: The vice-president shall assist the president and shall be second in charge whenever the president is not available. The vice-president shall be responsible for course maintenance and improvements. This officer shall conduct monthly clean-up and maintenance projects covering all courses as well as coordinating work with the respective parks departments. – Jennifer Kiddle – 678.343.5562

Assistant Vice President: The assistant vice-president shall assist the vice-president and shall be second in charge whenever the President or Vice President is not available. The assistant vice-president shall assist the vice president in the responsibility for course maintenance. – open position

Treasurer/Membership Coordinator: The treasurer shall manage, account and disperse all common club funds. This officer shall provide financial status reports at each monthly and quarterly meeting. This officer shall oversee all aspects of membership including but not limited to: collection dues, maintaining a club database, correspondence with members and regular projects to help grow the club. – Wayne Kiddle – 678.592.2204 wkiddle@ngdgc.org

Tournament Director: The TD shall oversee all club disc golf events. This officer shall coordinate scheduling (within the club and with other clubs), organization and leadership of club events including but not limited to: all sanctioned and non-sanctioned tournaments, leagues, weekly doubles, all fund raisers and all special events. The TD shall appoint event directors and help recruit volunteers. – Mike Eldridge – 770.794.0963

Assistant Tournament Director: The ATD shall assist the TD in overseeing all club disc golf events. This officer shall assist in coordinating schedules (within the club and with other clubs), organizations and leadership of club events including but not limited to: all sanctioned and non-sanctioned tournaments, leagues, weekly doubles, all fund raisers and all special events. Communications Director: This officer shall oversee the club website and maintain the club email address. Publish a monthly club e-news letter. Assist the membership coordinator in all member related communications. Notify the media of special events. – Cheryl Eldridge cherylal@earthlink.net

N.G.D.G.C Administrative Assistant: This officer is a member of the board and shall assist any and all officers where and when needed. –open position 
 
Junior Board Liaison: This officer is a member of the board and shall be under the age of 18. The purpose of this board member is to give a greater voice to the youth of the organization, the Junior Board Liaison shall have a full vote on the board. - Angel Eldridge

Club Board Bylaws
1. A person may be elected to more than one position. If one of the positions goes unfilled, the duties of that position are to be divided among the other standing positions. Elected positions may be held for two consecutive terms if said electoral is voted into office. Terms are held from November 1 – October 31.

2. If for any reason a person leaves their position, the said position will be filled by appointment from the board or divided among remaining board members if a replacement cannot be found. In the case of the President’s position, the Vice-President assumes the role of President. Anyone leaving a position must return all club materials within two weeks.

3. Each member of the board will have one vote per person during monthly board meetings. All course modifications and major club events must be approved by a referendum vote by the membership at the quarterly meetings. The President may cast the additional deciding vote in the event of a tie.

4. Monthly meetings will be held for the board of directors. Quarterly meetings shall be held for all club members. Annual elections will be held each fall.

5. All board members must follow all state, local and park rules and regulations while representing the club.

6. Two of the three signers on the club account must be present to withdraw funds.

7. All board members must be at least 18 years in age.

Member Bylaws
1. All paid members may vote at the yearly board elections and at the quarterly club meetings.

2. All paid members may run for board positions.

3. Membership dues are annually from March 1st – February 28th.

4. All members must follow state, local and park rules and regulations while participating in any club event. All members are expected to conduct themselves in a polite and courteous manner.

Member Levels
1.
Extreme participation level $25.00: Bag tag, Member card, Annual club mini, one vote at club meetings. Renewal fee $20.00

2. Light participation $15.00: Bag tag, Member Card. Renewal fee $10.00

3. Junior participation $10.00: Bag tag, Member Card. Free mini with
$10.00 renewal

4. Friends of the Park level $5.00: You get a warm fuzzy feeling and an E-mail from us each year asking for another $5.00 and a nice clean and well maintained park to play in
