We started with a small group of people playing Disk Golf in and around the Atlanta Georgia area. (mostly at our home course of Oregon Park) We saw a need to bring people together for the benefit of our home course and to promote the sport in the Cobb County area; as well as in the entire North Georgia area.

Disc Golf 

For those of you that have not yet experienced personally the joys of disc golf; we would like to say it is quite frankly the best thing since sliced bread (if you go for that kind of bread; I prefer a good crusty loaf myself) but we are after all at the NGDGC very biased about how much fun the sport is. However having introduced the sport myself to numerous people from all walks of life and ages, and having every last one of them say "that was the most fun I have had in a long time" and not a few of them becoming avid players. I would have to say that in my personal experience DISC GOLF is the greatest sport ever. Those wanting to know more about the game should come out and play with us; there are usually some very friendly people available and willing to show you the ropes. Also it would be a good idea to visit this site as it is the disc golf Mecca
